I just want to share some valuable information with you concerning crucial elements that need to be in place when you are considering running a Network Marketing business. I woke up early this morning, and had some great ideas. Most of my great ideas happen in the morning. After half an hour of thinking I got up and thought I would do a little reading so I picked up Magnetic Sponsoring from the shelf. I hadn’t read it in a while and ended up going through the entire thing in around two hours. Every time I read that book, it changes my perspective on Network Marketing in some little way. This time, I thought I would make a blog post to tell other people exactly why they are not having the success they want in the Network Marketing industry. Everyone says Network Marketing is hard. The truth of the matter is that it’s an industry of people who are trying to be leaders, who are trying to get rich when they have no idea how.
It doesn’t matter what company you are in. It doesn’t matter what products you are selling, and it really doesn’t matter what your compensation plan is. What really matters is you. We have an entire industry of people who have never run a business before. Your prospects are not looking for a product, but for someone that can help them to start making money as quick as possible. You need to have a team that works together to help everyone as a whole. Training material should be shared within that team, and everything should be duplicable. Everyone does it wrong by promoting their companies products or comp plan. I’m sure you’ve seen the ad that reads something like this. "Binary Matrix, 50 thousand a month income potential, great products”. Well, if you are like most other people or Networkers, you probably have clicked on one of those silly ads. That is not the way to market your business.
Instead of selling your companies comp plan or product, you need to sell yourself. People don’t do business with companies, they do business with people. This is a relationship building business. It all boils down to the ability of building relationships and sponsoring people into your downline. Your new prospects or leads will get excited when you explain the product, and describe the comp plan. Your prospect will seem very serious about joining your downline, and serious about building the business. Then they don’t make the amount of money that they thought they would make, and move on to the next biggest thing. These people are just followers and not leaders. They will never get anywhere unless they actually start building a business, and stick to that one goal until they start getting good results. People will quit if the opportunity isn’t creating a multitude of cash in their bank account within the first few weeks or months. People usually don’t know how to build a business, and that is why people will actually stay with me, when they are in my organization. I have learned that in order to succeed you have to be consistent, persistent, and concentrate on creating valuable relationships.
That’s The Power of Yourself and Marketing!
Two crucial elements to building your business is yourself and marketing. You need to be able to generate fresh leads to prospect and you need to know how to prospect them. You must know what your prospects "why" is, what they want to achieve out of the business. You will never know that unless you have already built a relationship with them, and they have shared with you their strongest desires. Giving them the tools to reach that goal, or a plan to give them hope in making their "why" come alive is what you need in order to get them signed up into your company. Most people never think that far ahead. Products and comp plans don’t build businesses, people do! You should have two types of people in your downline. Customers and business builders. You must have a good product with demand, and you must have a good team promoting that product. The whole point of Network Marketing is to distribute a product through an ever growing network of people. Your sponsors will be glad to do that with you because they have built up a personal trust to work with you.
Marketing Relationships Will Skyrocket Your Income!
You also need to be able to market the products and business opportunity. You need to be able to sell the products and have happy customers making you commissions. You will earn a lot more money in finding 10 leaders who learn to market the products and opportunity, then if you have 500 people looking for a quick fix product, or comp plan. You only need 10 faithful and loyal distributors to train at a time who then go on to do the same thing.
So put yourself out there and really take action in building relationships, and marketing. The relationships that you build will bring you money in for the long haul. Marketing will bring you the short term commissions. Marketing is something you will learn to perfect over time and it may not come naturally. You need to spend some money on ebooks, training courses and a few seminars in order to market successfully. Work on both, and watch how your business grows.
